Sheldon, N.D. - Dave and Kim Utke have spent 43 years quietly building an international reputation for breeding champion appaloosa horses. Now, their Sheldak Ranch has been proclaimed a champion in its own right. The 1,000-acre ranch was recently named one of the top five horse farms in the U.S. by Horseman Magazine.
