PAST TENSE: Sommer family near Saline gives road name
Peter C. Sommer left Ohio and moved to York Township in 1915, carrying the household items on a flatbed wagon hauled by horses. The wagon was loaded mainly with chickens and food. He and his oldest son, Harold, drove the cattle on foot all the way from Pandora, Ohio, to the farm near Saline-Milan Road.
